Threading the Needle

For this fast trick all you need is about two feet of rope. You can have lots of fun while repeating this trick.

Effect: A piece of rope is wrapped around your thumb. You then thread it through a small loop impossibly fast. You can even do it without looking.

Method: Wrap the rope around your thumb as seen in the picture.

Take the hanging end on your left and pretend to thread it through the hole by throwing it. You do this a few times and demonstrate how difficult it is. On your third attempt instead of throwing the rope miss to the right of it, but don’t let go, the rope will slide between the rope and your thumb and enter the loop.

It now appears like you threaded it. Do this quickly and you’ll get them every time!
