The 9 Card Trick

This trick is self working card trick that you can do with any deck.

Effect: Deal off 9 cards from the top of your deck and give them to a spectator. You wont need the rest of the deck for this trick so put it away. Your spectator picks one of those 9 cards as theirs, and then shuffles them up. You take the pack from them and deal three columns of cards dealing left to right.

After they tell you what pile their card is in, you gather up the cards and deal them again. Again, they tell you what pile it’s in. You collect up the cards and deal them out one more time. This time without the spectator saying a word you tell them what card is theirs!

Method: Follow the directions just as above. Each time you gather up the pile of cards, put their pile between the other two so it’s in the middle. The third time you deal the rows, their card will always be the middle card in the middle row.
